Reading Redux: At The Queen’s Command
Just over a week ago I did a reading of the first three chapters of At The Queen’s Command, my new fantasy novel, in Second Life. I’ve been asked to do another reading for those who couldn’t make it. I agreed, and will do the reading tonight, 11 February, at 9 Eastern/6 Pacific time. The reading will take about an hour.
I’ll be reading at the Artist’s Voice “I <3 Originals" Fair. The Fair is a Second Life event supporting original content creators. Lots of great stuff available for sale, including a number of exclusive items and a whole raft of freebies. Second Life is graphically-based chat software that is fully supportive of VOIP—hence the ability to do readings. The software is free for download, and registration of your account is likewise free. Once you've signed up, hit this link to teleport to the reading venue.
Last time I read this work, some folks asked if I would record the reading to MP3 so they could listen at another time. While I am sure I’ll record an MP3 prior to the book’s release, it probably will only be the first chapter, and will be released much closer to the books debut.
