Third Life Books Grand Opening Party!

You are all cordially invited to the Grand Opening of Third Life Books in Second Life on Saturday 2 August, from 5 to 8 PM Pacific/game time. Our schedule of events is as follows:

5pm – 8pm: The Spirit Dazzlers, tours, and chat!

5pm: Michael A. Stackpole Presents: A Class for Writers – Plotting Techniques

6pm: Meet and greet with Kat Alderson

6:15pm: The Original Comedy of Jwheels Carver

7pm: New York Times Bestselling author Michael A. Stackpole reads his fantasy short story, Wildest Dreams.

8pm: A very special fireworks display!

Kat has worked hard to put together the program, decorate Third Life and Farpoint Media; and has also assembled a wonderful gift package for all who attend.

It’s going to be an absolute blast. Come on in, meet other cool folks and enjoy yourself. You’ll have a great time in this virtual reality.

Second Life, for those who have never chatted online, is a graphical chat interface. It does not cost money to register or use. It operates on a “micro-economy” model, which is to say that you can uses it for free, but you can do a lot more if you just pay a little more here and there. I sell books in Second Life to cover the costs of promoting my work and having the space to hold seminars. Lots of other wildly creative people turn out really cool products to feed their habits, too.
