In Hero Years…

You may recall, last fall, I was working on a superhero novel titled In Hero Years. . . I’m Dead. I really enjoyed working on that book. I’ve just finished doing the edits on it. I added about a thousand words over all, but I also did a bunch of cutting. It’s fascinating to go through a book and find things you’ve forgotten. The fixes are relatively easy, however.

The book comes in at just over 103,000 words.

This book was done on spec—meaning I had no contract for it. I’ve sent it on to my agent. We’ll see who’s interested. I’ll certainly keep you posted.
